VSA Partners, a leading brand strategy and creative agency, is proud to welcome May Shek as Associate Partner, Head of Strategy. Shek brings over 18 years of brand and campaign strategy experience and will continue to drive VSA’s commitment to building brands and campaigns that break through.
Her career spans New York and Hong Kong, with work in brand architecture, marketing strategy and product innovation for organizations in financial services, technology and healthcare. In her most recent role, she served as founder and CEO of Boundless, a consulting agency dedicated to helping mission-driven organizations turn strategy into action.
“May has spent her career solving complex problems in brand architecture, positioning and campaign strategy. We’ve worked alongside her for years in a contractor capacity and are thrilled to have her join VSA as our new head of strategy,” said Anne-Marie Rosser, CEO. “May is someone our teams and clients already trust, and her ability to move from brand strategy to creative and campaign strategy at market speed will sharpen how we build brands that break through.”

Outside her agency work, Shek uses her passion for strategic design to educate the next generation of strategists and designers by serving as an adjunct professor at Pratt Institute, where she teaches a course on transformation design. She also serves on the New York leadership team for Women in Innovation, a nonprofit that exists to inspire and advance women as changemakers and leading voices in innovation.
Shek joined VSA in early August and is based in the agency’s New York office.
